General principles of corporate governance
Kuny AG undertakes to comply with the laws, regulations and other binding obligations in the countries in which it operates. It pursues fair competition and rejects all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery. Kuny AG strives to continuously increase transparency within its supply chain and ensures appropriate communication of its business practices to the outside world.
Human rights
Kuny AG respects human rights within its company and ensures that it is not complicit in human rights violations. In particular, it pays attention to the following:
- Equality before the law and prohibition of discrimination.
- Protection of privacy.
- The right to freedom of opinion and expression.
- The right to health and safety for employees in the workplace.
Working conditions
Kuny AG is committed to complying with social standards. These include in particular:
- Prohibition of child labour and forced labour.
- Fair pay and equal pay for equal work.
- Compliance with local regulations in the area of occupational health and safety.
Data protection and data security
Kuny AG makes every effort to treat personal and all other data with the necessary care, i.e. with respect for personal rights and privacy, and attaches great importance to preventing data misuse. We also expect this from our employees, partners and suppliers.
Environmental protection
Kuny AG conducts its business activities in an environmentally conscious manner and takes economically viable measures to achieve a high level of protection. It consistently pursues sustainable approaches and actively promotes future-proof standards. Suppliers must also be involved in an appropriate manner in the development of sustainable products and services.
Kuny AG shall make every reasonable effort to implement this Code of Conduct in its business activities. In the event of deviations, improvement measures will be taken promptly.
Upon request, Kuny AG’s contractual partners shall be provided with a comprehensible explanation of how the Code of Conduct is being complied with. Trade secrets or other sensitive information relating to competition are excluded from this reporting.
